Upcoming Project to Repair SB U.S. 67 Bridge over St. Francis River in Wayne County

SIKESTON—The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to repair a joint on the southbound lanes of the U.S. Route 67 bridge over the St. Francis River in Wayne County. The bridge is located near the Old Greenville Recreation Area at Lake Wappapello in Greenville, Missouri.

During construction, southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the vicinity of the bridge. Northbound traffic will not be impacted. Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling near the area.

Tentatively, the project is expected to be awarded to a contractor in December 2024. Construction could begin as early as spring 2025. Weather permitting, repair work will be underway for approximately 90 days.
