JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be making the following traffic modifications for pavement operations on Moore St. and U.S. Hwy 40. All work is weather permitting.
- Crews will CLOSE Moore St. between U.S. Hwy 40 and South Ave. starting at approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, June 3 until 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3.
- Crews will conduct various lane closures and lane shifts on U.S. Hwy 40 starting at approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, June 3 until 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
