St. Louis Work Zones May 30-June 5

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use southbound Interstate 55/westbound I-44 to leave the city of St. Louis should be aware of an upcoming long-term ramp closure, weather permitting.

Crews will close the ramp from 7th Street and Park to southbound I-55 and westbound I-44 Tuesday, June 4 at 9 a.m.  The ramp will remain closed around-the-clock for three weeks as crews work on curbing, drainage, and guardrail. 

Drivers can use Park Avenue to Tucker as a detour. They can continue on Gravois to detour to southbound I-55 or turn onto Lafayette to detour to the ramp for westbound I-44.

  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from northbound to Loughborough will be closed through 2024 and the Loughborough on-ramp to northbound I-55 closed.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Germania to northbound will be closed through 2024.
