ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – A scrub seal project in Carroll and Gentry counties is scheduled to begin next week. Contractors from Vance Brothers, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will begin on U.S. Route 136 in Gentry County on Wednesday, May 22.
The scrub seal treatment on Route 136 in Gentry County is expected to be complete by Friday, May 24. Crews then plan to perform the scrub seal treatment on Carroll County Route 10 on Tuesday, May 28. All work is expected to be complete by May 30.
During the project, traffic will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers and a pilot car directing motorists through the work zone. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place.
All work is weather permitting and subject to change.
