Pavement repair work at Third St. and Oldham Pkwy. in Lee's Summit, (evening/overnight) May 18-19.

JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will perform pavement repair at the intersection of Third Street and Oldham Parkway near U.S. 50 in Lee’s Summit, May 18-19. This work will require the following (evening/overnight) closures:

7 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 until 6 a.m. on Sunday, May 19

  • Crews will CLOSE the intersection of Third St. and Oldham Pkwy.
    • Traffic will not be able to go through the intersection of Third St. and Oldham Pkwy.
  • Crews will CLOSE the right turn lane on the exit ramp from EB U.S. 50 to Third St.
  • NW Oldham Pkwy will be closed to traffic from Third St. to SW McClendon Dr.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
