SALINE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting emergency pavement repair work on I-70 WB at mile marker 65.8 just west of Sweet Springs from approximately 7 pm on Sat., May 18 until 12pm on Sun., May 19. Crews will close the right lane and then switch to the left lane once right lane traffic is re-opened. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
