Lane closure planned tonight on eastbound I-44 in Rolla

Ramp closures expected at Exits 185 and 186 (Route E and U.S. Route 63)

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The right-hand (driving) lane of eastbound Interstate 44 will close tonight for pavement repairs. Winter weather has taken a toll on the pavement and repairs are planned tonight from Exit 185 at Route E in Rolla to just east of Exit 186 at U.S. Route 63. The lane is expected to close at 7 p.m. tonight, May 7, and reopen by 6 a.m. tomorrow, May 8.

The overnight closure will restrict access at the following eastbound exits:

  • Exit 185
    • Off-ramp from eastbound I-44 to Route E/Tim Bradley Way OPEN.
    • On-ramp from Route E/Tim Bradley Way to eastbound I-44 CLOSED.
  • Exit 186
    • Off-ramp from eastbound I-44 to U.S. Route 63/Bishop Avenue CLOSED.
    • On-ramp from U.S. Route 63/Bishop Avenue to eastbound I-44 CLOSED.
  • All westbound exits in this area are expected to remain open.

All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
