REMINDER: Lane closure on the ramp from NB I-435 to Stadium Drive, ONGOING through April 24

JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will continue bridge rehabilitation on the twin bridges on I-435 over Raytown Road. The following ONGOING lane closure is in place.

Work is ONGOING and could take place through April 24

  • Crews will CLOSE one lane on the ramp from NB I-435 to Stadium Drive.
  • Ramp traffic will still be able to access Raytown Rd. and Stadium Dr. at all times during this closure.

In the coming months, motorists may notice traffic impacts on SB I-435 near the I-70 interchange and the NB I-435 traffic just north of Sni-A-Bar Rd as crews work to rehab the twin bridges. This work began on April 8. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists traveling to Kauffman Stadium will need to plan ahead, leave early and be vigilant of work in the area. Access to the gates 5, 6, and 7 from I-435 north may be impacted.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
