HANNIBAL – The bridge rehabilitation project on Monroe County Route J, over the Middle Fork Salt River, 0.5 mile east of Route OO, near Duncans Bridge, has been completed and opened to traffic earlier today, April 17.
Included in this contract are two additional bridge rehabilitation projects at the following locations scheduled to begin in Spring of 2024:
- Route D, located 0.9 mile west of Route E near Santa Fe. (Complete)
- Route Z, over Brush Creek, approximately two miles north of Route D, near Strother. (In progress with estimated completion in early July)
Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. was awarded the contract earlier this year in the amount of $2,486,413. The bridges are expected to be completed and re-open by July 1, 2024.
