Lane closures on U.S. 169 near Briarcliff for barrier wall replacement, April 16 - June.

CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation has closed portions of U.S. Highway 169 for barrier wall replacement work. The left lane of northbound U.S. 169 is closed from Missouri Highway 9 to Briarcliff Pkwy. The left lane of southbound U.S. 169 is also closed from Briarcliff Pkwy to MO-9. These closures are 24/7 and are scheduled to continue until June. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
