TRAFFIC ALERT: Lane Closures, Traffic Delays During Pavement Repair at Routes 7 & 13 April 23-25

Where: Intersection of Missouri Route 7, Missouri Route 13 and 2nd Street in Clinton

When: 7 a.m., Tuesday, April 23-8 a.m., Thursday, April 25

What: Contractor crews repairing concrete in the intersection as part of a resurfacing and intersection improvements project

Traffic Impacts:

  • Tuesday, April 23
    • Northbound Missouri Route 7 through (right) lane CLOSED where crews are working
      • All other lanes OPEN
  • Wednesday-Thursday, April 24-25
    • Southbound Missouri Route 13 through lane CLOSED
      • Drivers will be required to turn either right or left at intersection with Route 7/13
    • Northbound 2nd Street left turn-to-northbound Route 7 CLOSED
    • Southbound Route 7 through (right) lane CLOSED
      • Left turn lane and left through lane remain OPEN
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes
  • No signed detours are planned
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to changes in traffic pattern and any changes in the work schedule
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
