MoDOT to close two middle westbound Interstate 70 lanes at Route 79 for bridge maintenance April 5-8

ST. CHARLES COUNTY – Drivers traveling on westbound Interstate 70 at Route 79 can expect possible delays during a weekend bridge rehabilitation project. All work is weather permitting.

Starting Friday, April 5 at 9 p.m., crews will close one middle lane of westbound I-70 at Route 79. Each night, between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning, crews will close a second middle lane. At least two westbound lanes will always remain open along this section of I-70 at Route 79.  Westbound drivers wishing to exit at Route 79 must be in the far-right lane. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, April 8.
