HANNIBAL – Weather permitting, April 8, Monroe County Route Z is scheduled to close as work begins on the bridge rehabilitation project located over Brush Creek, approximately two miles north of Route D, near Strother. The project is anticipated to be completed by early July.
Included in this contract are two additional bridge rehabilitation projects at the following locations:
- Route D, located 0.9 mile west of Route E near Santa Fe. (Complete)
- Route J, over Middle Fork Salt River, 0.5 miles east of Route OO, near Duncans Bridge. (In progress, tentative scheduled completion by mid-May)
Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. was awarded the contract last year in the amount of $2,486,413.
