TRAFFIC ALERT: Permit work will require closure on I-435 in Platte County, April 21

PLATTE COUNTY – Permit work requires temporary closures of all lanes at I-435 and the N Congress Avenue Bridge Overpass near mile marker 36.8 in Kansas City. The Missouri State Highway Patrol will assist with traffic control with temporary rolling stops. Work will begin at approximately 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 21. This closure will last for 15 minutes or less.  All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
