CANCELLED: Lane closures for bridge repair work on EB/WB I-70 over U.S. 40/31st Street, March 24

JACKSON COUNTY – MoDOT crews will be performing bridge joint repair work on EB/WB I-70 over U.S. 40 Highway/31st Street from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 24. This work will require the closure of two lanes on both EB/WB I-70. This work will not require a complete closure, but motorists may experience delays in the area. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
