Upcoming maintenance work in Johnson and Pettis counties for March 25-29

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from March 25-29. All work is weather permitting.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Route Y between SE 701 Rd and SE 921 Rd: lane closures from Mon., March 25 through Wed., March 27, from approximately 7 am until 4 pm, for drainage work.

Route CC between Route E and NE 1025 Rd: lane closures from Mon. March 25 through Fri., March 29, from approximately 7 am until 4 pm, for brush cutting.

PETTIS COUNTY

US Highway 50 westbound between Marshall St. and Merriam St in Sedalia.: right lane closed from approximately 7 am on Mon., March 25 until 4 pm on Wed., March 27 for a water leak repair. This repair will be done by the city of Sedalia.

Missouri Highway 127 between Means Rd. and Crawford Rd.: lane closures from Mon. March 25 through Thu., March 28, from approximately 7 am until 4 pm, for brush cutting.

 

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
