ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use southbound I-55 should be aware of two ramp closures coming up next week, weather permitting.
Crews will close the ramp from Carondelet to southbound I-55 and the ramp from 4500 South Broadway to southbound I-55 Wednesday, March 27, after morning rush. Crews will be updating shoulders, curbs, drainage and guardrail along the ramps.
The ramp from 4500 South Broadway will be closed daily except Sunday, between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. The ramp from Carondelet will be closed around the clock. Both ramp closures are expected to last three weeks.
To detour around the 4500 South Broadway closure, drivers can use Broadway and Loughborough to head southbound on I-55. To detour around the Carondelet closure, drivers can use Morganford and Bayless.
