SIKESTON― The southbound Charleston weigh station on Interstate 57 in Mississippi County will be closed as construction crews remove and replace the on and off ramps.
Weather permitting, work will take place from Tuesday, April 9 through Friday, May 10 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. The weigh station will remain closed 24 hours a day until the work is completed.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
