St. Louis Work Zones March 21-27

ST. LOUIS – Motorists traveling in Jefferson County should plan accordingly as 3rd Street under Interstate 55 will closed temporarily for bridge maintenance.

Crews will close 3rd Street between Cromwell Road and Holly Drive weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Thursday, March 21 through Friday, April 5. The road and sidewalk will also close during that time.

The maintenance work includes routine inspections and repairs to enhance the longevity of the bridge. This closure is a part of the I-55 Corridor Improvements Design-Build project.

• I-55, St. Louis City, Carondelet on-ramp to southbound I-55 closed starting at 8 a.m. until Mid-April.
• I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from northbound to Loughborough will be closed through 2024.
• I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Germania to northbound will be closed through 2024.
• I-55, St. Louis City, one northbound lane closed between Lindbergh and Reavis Barracks Road through 2024.
• I-55, St. Louis City, two northbound lanes closed between Reavis Barracks Rd. and Virginia through 2024.
• I-55, St. Louis City, the Cherokee entrance ramp to southbound I-55 closed through 2024.
