JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – One lane of eastbound Interstate 70 will close tonight, March 20 starting at 7 p.m. for pavement repairs near mile marker 135.8. Contractors working with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) plan to close the eastbound driving (right-hand) lane of I-70 just east of the Centralia/Route Z exit, east of Columbia. The lane will be closed overnight on Wednesday, March 20, to allow the concrete to cure and is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. Thursday, March 21.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
