ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – A resurfacing and pavement improvement project is scheduled to begin Monday, March 11, on U.S. Route 36 in Livingston County. The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted with Magruder Paving, LLC to complete the project which extends from the bridge over Coon Creek in Chillicothe to the Caldwell County line.
All work is expected to be complete by the end of June.

Workers will be present during daylight hours, Monday through Friday, Saturdays as needed, weather permitting. A 15-foot width restriction will be in place for the duration of the project, with a 10-foot width restriction under the U.S. Route 65 bridge and the Kansas City Sub railroad bridge in Chillicothe.
