MoDOT holds public meeting to discuss Route 231 in St. Louis County TODAY

ST. LOUIS – Residents who use Route 231 (Telegraph Road) between Franru and the Meramec River may want to attend an open house style public meeting about the corridor.

The meeting is TODAY from 4 to 6 p.m. at the St. Louis Public Library, Cliff Caves Branch, 5430 Telegraph Road, St. Louis MO, 63129.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold the open house-style public meeting to share information about an upcoming project along the corridor, with work projected to start in mid-2025. The project will update signals within the corridor and sidewalks on MoDOT right of way north of Christopher and resurface the roadway between Franru and the Meramec River.

There will be no formal presentation. Participants may attend the meeting at any time TODAY between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

For those who are unable to attend the meeting in person, the information shared during the meeting as well as a comment form is available at Missouri Route 231 Pavement Resurfacing in St. Louis | Missouri Department of Transportation (modot.org).

This meeting will allow the public to share their thoughts and concerns about the plans for the corridor and to provide comments, either directly to the engineers or through the comment form, on those concerns.
