TRAFFIC ALERT: Expect Lane & Ramp Closures on Southbound I-49 in McDonald Co. for Sign Work Feb. 15

Where: Southbound I-49 near McDonald County Route H in Pineville

When: 6 a.m.-5p.m., Thursday, February 15

What: MoDOT crews will be installing new overhead sign across I-49

Traffic Impacts:

  • Traffic reduced to one lane on southbound I-49 near Mile Marker 6.0
  • Southbound I-49-to-McDonald County Route H off-ramp (Exit 5) will be CLOSED between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
  • All northbound I-49 lanes OPEN
  • Southbound drivers should expect slowed traffic and delays where crews are working
  • No signed detours
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching work zone
  • Drivers should find alternate routes
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
