Public input sought on Route 22, 124, and 151 intersection replacement.

MoDOT to host public meeting, two-week comment period.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is hosting a public meeting on January 18, 2024 from 4:30-6p.m. at Centralia City Hall (114 S Rollins St., Centralia MO 65240). A public comment period for the project to replace the intersection with a roundabout at the intersection of Missouri Route 22, 124, and 151 will be open from Jan. 18-31. Interested parties will have the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and provide input about the Centralia project.

The plans for the new roundabout include improvements that will enhance safety, drivability, and traffic flow. These improvements are expected to take place in 2024 with an estimated cost of $1.1 million (subject to change).
