Plans to Realign Curve at Route 160 in Dade Co. Focus of Virtual (Online) Public Meeting Jan. 8-22

Dade County – The public is invited to a virtual (online) public meeting starting Monday, January 8, to learn more about plans for realigning a curve on U.S. 160 in Dade County south of Dadeville, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

The meeting will be available for two weeks from Monday, January 8, until Monday, January 22, and can be accessed at the project webpage here.

Beginning the winter of 2025, a curve on U.S. Route 160 between Dade County Road 203 and Missouri Route 245 will be straightened, eliminating a sharp curve and creating a safer, more efficient roadway for drivers.

For those unable to access the online meeting, they are encouraged to contact MoDOT’s Southwest District Office at 417.895.7600 and accommodations will be made to share the information and gather feedback.

The U.S. Route 160 Roadway Realignment project’s estimated total cost is $2.2 million.

Construction of the new alignment is expected to be completed by the fall of 2026.
