JACKSON COUNTY – Permit work for Google Fiber installation will require work on the shoulder of eastbound and westbound I-470 near the Hillcrest Road Bridge overpass in Kansas City, MO. This work will not require any lane closures. Motorists may notice closures on the shoulders of EB/WB I-470, in the work area, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023 until Friday, Jan. 12, 2024.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
