ST. LOUIS – To help motorists travel around the state for the upcoming Christmas holiday, the Missouri Department of Transportation will restrict most construction on interstates and state highways from noon on Friday, Dec. 22 until 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26. Restrictions will still be in place in areas where there are permanent barriers and if required, crews will close lanes for emergency maintenance.

Motorists should be aware of the following ongoing closures:
- I-44, St. Louis City, eastbound ramp from Lumiere closed.
- I-55, St. Louis City, two left lanes closed northbound and southbound between Lindbergh and Gravois until December 2023.
- I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Germania to northbound and the ramp from Loughborough to northbound will be closed through 2023.
- I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from northbound to Loughborough will be closed through 2023.
- I-55, St. Louis City, one northbound lane closed between Lindbergh and Reavis Barracks Rd.
- I-55, St. Louis City, two northbound lanes closed between Reavis Barracks Rd. and Gasconade.
- I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Lafayette/Truman and the ramp from Cherokee to southbound I-55 will be closed through December 2023.
- I-55, St. Louis City, the southbound Cherokee entrance ramp closed.
- I-270, St. Louis County, Riverview Dr. entrance ramp to eastbound I-270 closed through July 2024.
- I-270, St. Louis County, southbound Riverview Dr. under I-270 closed through 2024.
- Route D, St. Charles County, both directions closed between Route T and one mile east of Route D until March 2024.
- Route 21, Jefferson County, one lane closed southbound from Meramec Heights to Shady Valley.
- Route 21, Jefferson County, one southbound lane closed between Mile Marker 181.8 and Shady Valley.
