JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will make bridge column and median barrier repairs requiring the closure one lane on eastbound and westbound I-670 under the ramp from I-35 SB to I-670 EB. Lane closures will begin at approximately 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 18 (24 hours a day) through Dec. 21. This will not be a complete closure of I-670 EB/WB.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and be vigilant of work in the area. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
