Brush Cutting Operations scheduled on Johnson County Route Y, Dec. 18-22

JOHNSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be closing one lane on Johnson County Route Y for brush cutting operations starting at approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Dec. 18-22. This will not be a complete closure, but motorists may experience delays. All work is weather permitting.

Mon., Dec. 18 – Tues., Dec. 19

Crews will be conducting brush cutting operations on Route Y from 671SE to 871SE

Wed., Dec. 20 – Thurs. Dec. 21

Crews will be conducting brush cutting operations on Route Y from 871SE to 921SE

Fri., Dec. 22

Crews will be conducting brush cutting operations on Route Y from 921SE to 951SE

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
