JEFFERSON CITY - The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work planned in the mid-Missouri area Dec. 11 – 17. Weather conditions may postpone the scheduled work. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.
All Counties
Moving operations such as mowing, brush cutting, and pavement repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert for slow-moving equipment.
Boone County
Route V – Culvert pipe replacements planned Dec. 12. All lanes will be closed 2.5 miles south of Route CC between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Katy Trail – CLOSED from the city of Rocheport to just south of the Rocheport Bridge Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. through Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. as part of the ongoing construction of the new Rocheport Bridge.
Route N – Roadside work planned Dec 11 - 15. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route V – Culvert pipe replacements planned Dec. 12. All lanes will be closed 2.5 miles south of Route CC between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Interstate 70 – Bridge construction continues for the new Rocheport Bridge near mile marker 115. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2024.
Callaway County
U.S. Route 54 – Pavement repair planned Dec. 11, 1.5 miles north of Route B. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route 54 – Pavement repair planned Dec. 11, 1.5 miles north of Auxvasse Creek Bridge. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route J – Culvert pipe replacements planned Dec. 11 - 14. All lanes between County Road 353 and Route F will be closed daily from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Camden County
Route N – Roadside work planned Dec. 11 - 15. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Cooper County
I-70 – Bridge construction continues for the new Rocheport Bridge near mile marker 115. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2024.
Crawford County
Missouri Route 19 – Pavement marking planned Dec. 11 - 15 from Route DD to Eldon Ave. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Routes E, H, T, and PP – Culvert pipe replacements planned Dec. 11 - 15. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Route VV – Roadside work planned Dec. 11 - 15. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Gasconade County
Route K – Culvert pipe replacements planned Dec. 11 - 15. All lanes will be closed at several locations (changing daily) between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Howard County
Route A – Culvert pipe replacements planned Dec. 11 – 15 from Route 124 to Route B. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Laclede County
Route E – Culvert pipe replacement planned Dec. 12 from Route NN to the end of state maintenance. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
I-44 – Bridge maintenance night work planned Dec. 17 at the Bear Creek and Gasconade River bridges (mile markers 139 and 143) from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Maries County
Route 28 – Culvert pipe replacement planned Dec. 11 - 15 south of County Road 313. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route P – Culvert pipe replacement planned Dec. 11 - 15 at County Road 440. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route W – Culvert pipe replacement planned Dec. 11 - 15, 0.5 miles from the end of state maintenance. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route P – Bridge deck replacement continues. The road is currently closed at the Lanes Fork Creek Bridge. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2023.
Route 28 – Bridge replacement continues at the Dry Fork Creek Bridge. The road is closed to all traffic and a signed detour is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2024.
Miller County
Route BB – Culvert pipe replacement planned Dec. 11 - 15. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Moniteau County
Route W – Culvert pipe replacement planned Dec. 11 - 14. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Morgan County
Route DD – Roadside work planned Dec. 12. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Osage County
Routes FF and HH – Pavement repair planned Dec. 11 - 14. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Phelps County
Route E – Roadside work planned Dec. 11 - 15. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
I-44 – Road resurfacing continues from Exit 186 in Rolla to Exit 195 in St. James. Expect around-the-clock lane closures from U.S. Route 63 to Missouri Route 68. An 11-foot width restriction is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in July 2024.
Pulaski County
Route DD – Culvert pipe replacement planned Dec. 13, 1 mile east of Buttercup Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route DD – Roadside work planned Dec. 13 - 14, 1 mile east of Bangor Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route 17 – Roadside work planned Dec. 11 - 14, from Route K to the city of Crocker. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route 28 – Roadside work planned Dec. 11 – 15 from the Maries County line to Route D. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
I-44 – Bridge rehabilitation continues at the Roubidoux River Bridge. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2024.

Washington County
Route C – Culvert pipe replacements planned Dec. 11 - 15 from Route 21 to Route JJ. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
