TRAFFIC ALERT: Expect Delays on Routes 249 & 171 Ramps in Jasper Co. at Night Dec. 10-14

Where: Northbound Missouri Route 249 to Missouri Route 171 ramps in Jasper County at Mile Marker 5.6

When: 11 p.m.-6 a.m., Sunday-Thursday, December 10-14

What: MoDOT crews replacing structural signs over each ramp

Traffic Impacts:

  • Northbound Route 249-to-northbound Route 171 ramp to Webb City CLOSED during nighttime hours
  • One lane closed on northbound Route 249-to-southbound Route 171 ramp to Carthage
  • All ramps OPEN during daytime hours
  • No signed detour
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching work zones
  • Drivers urged to use alternate routes to avoid work zones
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
