JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will complete permitted electrical work requiring the closure of 29th Street from Woodlawn Ave. to Highland Ave. This work will take place, daily, from approximately 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. beginning on Friday, Dec. 1 through Tuesday, Dec. 12.
The ramps from U.S. 71 to 29th Street will be OPEN. Motorists will NOT be able to turn westbound onto 29th Street.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
