MoDOT to Host Route D (Page Ave.) Road Safety Audit Public Meeting on Dec. 13

NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will host a public meeting to gather input for its Route D Road Safety Audit (RSA) on Wednesday, Dec. 13 from 4-6 p.m. at Midwest BankCentre, 6801 Page Ave. 63133.

With input from a wide range of individuals, the RSA will assist MoDOT in identifying and addressing safety concerns along the Route D corridor, from Pennsylvania Ave. to St. Louis City limits (Skinker Blvd./Kienlen Ave.). Some of those concerns include aging pavement and traffic signals, the lack of connectivity for pedestrians and all modes of transportation, and drainage improvements.

All who use the corridor, whether walking, riding, driving, biking, etc., are invited to attend this open-house style meeting.  There will not be a formal presentation.  Individuals may attend the meeting at any time between 4-6 p.m. to speak with Route D team members and share their thoughts/concerns.

The meeting is accessible to individuals with disabilities. To request special accommodations, call 314-624-3765 or email charlene.goston@modot.mo.gov. by Dec. 6.
