St. Louis Work Zones Nov. 23-29

ST. LOUIS – – The Missouri Department of Transportation will suspend most work on interstates and state-maintained highways to reduce congestion and ease travel during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend Thursday through Sunday, Nov. 23-26.

Traffic will be restricted in areas where there are permanent barriers. Emergency roadwork will also be performed as needed.  Work on all construction projects will resume at 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27.

Motorists should be aware of the following ongoing closures:

  • I-55, St. Louis City, two left lanes closed northbound and southbound between Lindbergh and Gravois until December 2023.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Germania to northbound and the ramp from Loughborough to northbound will be closed through 2023.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from northbound to Loughborough will be closed through 2023.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, one northbound lane closed between Lindbergh and Reavis Barracks Rd.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, two northbound lanes closed between Reavis Barracks Rd. and Gravois.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Lafayette/Truman and the ramp from Cherokee to southbound I-55 will be closed through December 2023.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the southbound Cherokee and Arsenal entrance ramps closed.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, northbound outer ramp from Lewis Rd. closed through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed eastbound between Williams Road and Lewis Road through December.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, southbound lanes of McDonnell Boulevard over I-70 closed through the end of December.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, one eastbound lane closed between Route 115 and McDonnell Blvd. through the end of December.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, St. Louis Lambert International and Route 115 entrance ramp to eastbound I-70 closed through the end of December.

  • I-270, St. Louis County, one lane is closed on the one-way outer road (Dunn Road) from New Halls Ferry to Washington/Elizabeth.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, Riverview Dr. entrance ramp to eastbound I-270 closed through July 2024.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, southbound Riverview Dr. under I-270 closed through 2024.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, one northbound and southbound lane closed on New Florissant under the interstate.
  • I-255, St. Louis County, one lane on eastbound and westbound closed between Telegraph Rd. and Illinois through December.
  • I-255, St. Louis County, the ramp from westbound to Koch Road is closed through December.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, one northbound and southbound lane closed north of Route 94 through the end of December.
  • Dunn Rd., St. Louis County, closed intermittently from Linnell to Route 367 through December.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, eastbound Route K U-turn Lane closed until mid-November.
  • Route D, St. Charles County, both directions closed between Route T and one mile east of Route D until March 2024.
  • Route 21, Jefferson County, one lane closed southbound from Meramec Heights to Shady Valley through late fall 2023.
  • Route 21, Jefferson County, one lane closed southbound over Route M and Heads Creek through November.
  • Route 21, Jefferson County, one southbound lane closed between MM181.8 and Shady Valley.
