Planned Road Work for Mid-Missouri

Nov. 26 - Dec. 4, 2023

JEFFERSON CITY - The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work planned in the mid-Missouri area Nov. 26 – Dec. 4. Weather conditions may postpone the scheduled work. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.   

All Counties     

Moving operations such as mowing, brush cutting, and pavement repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert for slow-moving equipment.    

Boone County         

Interstate70 – Bridge construction continues for the new Rocheport Bridge near mile marker 115. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2024.     

Callaway County      

Route J – Culvert pipe replacement planned Nov. 27 - 30. All lanes between County Road 338 and County Road 356 will be closed from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

 

Camden County   

Route N – Roadside work planned Nov. 27 – Dec. 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.  

Cole County       

Route B – Roadside work planned Nov. 28 – Dec. 1 from the Osage River bridge to the city of Wardsville.  One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.       

Cooper County      

Routes J, N, and Z – Pavement repair planned Nov. 27 – Dec. 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.     

I-70 – Bridge construction continues for the new Rocheport Bridge near mile marker 115. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2024.   

Crawford County     

Routes E and T Culvert pipe replacements planned Nov. 27 - 30. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.      

Routes H and PP Culvert pipe replacements planned Nov. 27 – Dec. 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.       

 

Gasconade County      

Route K Culvert pipe replacement planned Nov. 27 - 30. All lanes will be closed at several locations (changing daily) between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. 

 

Laclede County 

I44 – Bridge rehabilitation continues at the Gasconade River Bridge. Expect nightly lane closures between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. between mile markers 141 and.  The project is scheduled for completion in December 2023.    

 

Maries County   

Missouri Route 28 Culvert pipe replacement planned Nov. 27 – Dec. 1 at County Road 313. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.     

Route W – Culvert pipe replacement planned Nov. 27 – Dec. 1. One half mile from the end of state maintenance. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.     

Route P – Bridge deck replacement continues. The road is currently closed at the Lanes Fork Creek Bridge. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2023.        

Route 28 – Bridge replacement begins Nov. 27 at the Dry Fork Creek Bridge. The road will close to all traffic and a signed detour will direct motorists around the closure. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2024.        

Miller County   

Route BB – Culvert pipe replacement planned Nov. 27 – Dec. 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.     

 

Moniteau County         

Route W – Culvert pipe replacement planned Nov. 27 – 30. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.    

 

Morgan County        

Route T – Culvert pipe replacement planned Nov. 28 from Missouri Route 52 to Fairground Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.    

Missouri Route 135 – Culvert pipe replacement planned Nov. 29 at Wolf Lane. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.    

Route 135 – Culvert pipe replacement planned Nov. 30 south of Cottonwood Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.    

Osage County         

Route NN – Culvert pipe replacement planned Nov. 27 - 30. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.       

Route FF – Pavement repair planned Nov. 27 - 30. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.    

Phelps County 

Route E – Culvert pipe replacement planned Nov. 27 – Dec. 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.        

I-44 – Road resurfacing continues from Exit 186 in Rolla to Exit 195 in St. James. Expect around-the-clock lane closures from U.S. Route 63 to Missouri Route 68. An 11-foot width restriction is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2023.      

 

Pulaski County 

Route 28 – Pavement repair planned Nov. 27 – Dec. 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.    

Route DD – Pavement repair planned Nov. 29. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.     

Route C – Roadside work planned Nov. 27 – 30 from the City of Dixon Park to Route 28.  One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.    

I-44 – Bridge rehabilitation continues at the Roubidoux River Bridge.  Expect nightly lane closures between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. between mile markers 133 and 135.The project is scheduled for completion in December 2023.   

I-44 – Bridge rehabilitation continues at the Big Piney River Bridge. One lane will remain closed for the duration of the project between Exits 163 and 169. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2023. 

Washington County 

Route CC Roadside work planned Nov. 27 – 30. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.    

Route C Roadside work planned Nov. 27 – Dec. 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
