ST. CHARLES COUNTY – Drivers traveling on northbound and southbound Cave Springs Road over Interstate 70 should consider alternate routes overnight Monday, November 27 and Tuesday, November 28. Crews will be closing both directions of the Cave Springs overpass nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
All Cave Springs interchange ramps will remain open for right turns only during the overnight closure. This work is part of a traffic shift on the Cave Springs Road interchange as crews work to finalize the interchange. All work is weather permitting.
The Cave Springs and Zumbehl interchanges are being converted into single point urban interchanges (SPUI) for the I-70 Cave Springs to Fairgrounds Design-Build Project. As construction on this project progresses, both interchanges will remain open to drivers.
