MoDOT to restore full lanes on EB I-44 near Lewis Road next week

ST. LOUIS – There’s good news for drivers who use eastbound I-44 between Eureka and Lewis Road.

Crews are working toward restoring full lanes on that stretch of interstate next week. For the past two months, drivers have had narrowed lanes on that section of interstate.

Monday, November 13 through Wednesday, November 15, crews will close two eastbound I-44 lanes between  Eureka and Lewis Road each night, starting at 7 p.m.  The lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning.  When the lanes reopen on Thursday, November 16, at 5 a.m., drivers will once again have full 12-foot lanes on eastbound I-44 in that area.
