Commission Awards Contracts for Projects in Northeast District

HANNIBAL – During its regular meeting on November 1, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the following contracts for seal coat, resurfacing, bridge rehabilitation, concrete pavement repairs and pavement marking projects in the Northeast District. 

  • A $14M contract was awarded to Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. for resurfacing projects in Adair and Schuyler counties at the following locations:
    • U.S. Route 63 - From the Iowa state line to 0.6 mile north of Business Route 63 near Kirksville in Adair County
    • Missouri Route 202 - From the Iowa state line to U.S. Route 63 near Lancaster in Schuyler County
  • A $8.8M contract was awarded to Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. for seal coat and resurfacing projects in Adair, Macon and Randolph counties at the following locations:
    • Missouri Route 3 - Seal coat from U.S. Route 24 east junction to Missouri Route 129 at Roanoke in Randolph County
    • Missouri Route 3 - Resurfacing from Missouri Route 11 in Adair County to U.S. Route 24 at Clifton Hill in Randolph County
    • Route C - Resurfacing from U.S. Route 36 in Macon County to Route JJ at Huntsville in Randolph County
  • A $4.7M contract was awarded to Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. for seal coating and resurfacing projects in Audrain, Marion and Ralls counties at the following locations:
    • Missouri Route 79 - Resurfacing from 0.3 mile south of the I-72 interchange to 0.5 mile north of Route T in Hannibal in Marion County
    • Route F - Resurfacing from Missouri Route 19 in Ralls County to north of Daniels Avenue near Vandalia in Audrain County
    • Route V - Resurfacing from Business Route 61 in New London to Route T in Ralls County
    • Route A - Seal coat and resurfacing from Route J to Business Route 61 in New London in Ralls County
    • Route T - Resurfacing from 0.8 mile south of Missouri Route 79 in Hannibal in Marion County to Route V in Ralls County
  • A $730,000 contract was awarded to Capital Paving & Construction, LLC, for resurfacing project on Missouri Route 129, from U.S. Route 36 near New Cambria in Macon County to the Chariton County line.
  • A $1.6M contract was awarded to Thomas Industrial Coatings, Inc., for a bridge deck sealing and fence painting project on Missouri Route 19, over the Missouri River and Loutre River near Hermann in Montgomery County.
  • A $1.1M contract was awarded to STF, LLC DBA Traffic Control Company, for pavement marking on I-70 and U.S. Route 61, in Lewis, Lincoln, Marion, Montgomery, Pike, Ralls and Warren counties.
