ST. CHARLES COUNTY – Drivers traveling on northbound and southbound Zumbehl Road over Interstate 70 should consider alternate routes overnight Friday, November 3 and Saturday, November 4. Crews will be closing both directions of Zumbehl nightly from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
All Zumbehl interchange ramps will remain open for right turns only during the overnight closure. This work is part of a traffic shift on the Zumbehl Road interchange as crews work to finalize the interchange. All work is weather permitting.
The Cave Springs and Zumbehl interchanges are being converted into single point urban interchanges (SPUI) for the I-70 Cave Springs to Fairgrounds Design-Build Project. As construction on this project progresses, both interchanges will remain open to drivers.
