Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission to Meet in Perryville

Nov. 1 at 9 a.m.

SIKESTON—The monthly meeting of the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission will be held Wednesday, Nov. 1 at the Perry Park Center, located at 800 City Park Lane in Perryville, Missouri. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and is open to the public and media.

The Commission is a six-member bipartisan board that governs the Missouri Department of Transportation. Members are appointed for a six-year term by the governor and are confirmed by the Missouri Senate.

Public presentations will include:

  • The City of Perryville and Perry County - Larry Riney, Mayor of Perryville; Mike Sauer, Perry County Presiding Commissioner; Brent Buerck, City Administrator; and Crystal Jones, Executive Director of Perry County Economic Development Authority
  • The Southeast Missouri Regional Planning Commission - Drew Christian, Deputy Director of the Southeast Missouri Regional Planning Commission

An update from MoDOT’s Southeast District will also be delivered by District Engineer Mark Croarkin.
