Ramps at Route 752 and I-229 to close for scrub seal

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Contractors from Vance Brothers, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation are scheduled to begin a scrub seal on Missouri Route 752 (Mason Road) in Buchanan County on Friday, Nov. 3. During the project, Mason Road will be closed from Missouri Route 371 to I-229, including the following ramps:

  • I-229 northbound to Mason Road.
  • Mason Road to I-229 southbound.
  • Mason Road to Route 371.
  • Route 371 to Mason.

Motorists will need to seek an alternate route during the ramp closures.

The routes listed below are still to be completed as part of this project. All schedules are temperature- and weather-dependent and are subject to change:

  • Buchanan County Route A – scheduled to be completed Nov. 2.
  • Buchanan Route 752 – scheduled for Nov. 3.
  • Buchanan Route JJ – schedule to be determined.
  • Buchanan Route 59 – schedule to be determined.

The routes listed below have been completed as a part of this project:

  • Andrew County U.S. Route 59 (Country Club Road)
  • Andrew/Buchanan counties Loop 29 (North Belt Highway)
  • Buchanan County Route 6 (Frederick Boulevard)
  • Buchanan County Route AC
  • Andrew County U.S. Route 71
  • Andrew County Route E
  • Andrew County Route C
  • Buchanan/Clinton counties Route VV
  • Buchanan County Route MM

Project schedule updates will be provided on the Traveler Information Map (http://traveler.modot.org/map/) and on the Planned Roadwork for Northwest Missouri press release sent out each Friday afternoon. All work is weather permitting and could be rescheduled.
