PLATTE COUNTY- MoDOT will be closing all southbound lanes on I-29 from south of Gateway Ave to Waukomis Drive starting at 4 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4 until Sunday, Nov. 5 at 12 a.m. for an urgent culvert replacement. Southbound traffic will be able to access I-635 or Gateway Ave. All work is weather permitting. This work is rescheduled from Oct. 26.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
