TRAFFIC ALERT: Jasper Co. Route M CLOSED North of Joplin Nov. 6-20 for Culvert Work

Where: Jasper County Route M (Base Line Boulevard) between Missouri Route 171 and Missouri Route 43 north of Joplin

When: 7 a.m., Monday, November 6 through 4 p.m., Monday, November 20

What: MoDOT crews will extend the culvert beneath the road between Jasper County Roads 255 & 250

Traffic Impacts:

  • Route M (Base Line Boulevard) CLOSED where crews are working
  • Local traffic will have access to driveways and entrances on either end of the work zone but will not be able to travel through the work zone
  • Other drivers urged to find alternate routes
  • No signed detours
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
