Lane and ramp closures scheduled for EB I-670, TONIGHT - Oct. 18-19

Lane closure on EB I-670 from just after Genessee St. to just past Wyoming St.

JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will CLOSE two lanes on eastbound I-670 from just after the off ramp from EB I-670 to Genessee St. to just past the on ramp from EB I-670 to Wyoming St. for bridge rehabilitation work. This closure will begin at approximately 7 p.m. on Wed., Oct. 18 until 7 a.m. on Thurs. Oct. 19.

During this work, the ramp from EB I-670 to Genessee St. will remain open. The ramp from EB I-670 to Wyoming St. is currently closed and will remain closed until after the project is completed on Nov. 13. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and be vigilant of work in the area. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
