Overnight pavement repair work scheduled for Route D in Lafayette County, Oct. 19-20

LAFAYETTE COUNTY- The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing overnight pavement repair work at the bridge on the south end of Route D closing both lanes across the bridge from approximately 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19 until Friday, Oct. 20. Access from the south outer road to Route D will be closed, and traffic from the north will not be able to access the south outer road. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
