St. Louis Work Zones October 12-October 18

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who take Geyer Road over Interstate 44 in south St. Louis County should allow extra time and consider alternate routes to avoid a bridge closure this weekend.

Weather permitting, crews will close Geyer Road over I-44 Friday, October 13 at 9 p.m. for bridge maintenance.

The bridge will reopen Monday, October 16 by 5 a.m.

To detour around the bridge closure, drivers can use Route 366 (Watson Road), Route 67 (Lindbergh Boulevard/South Kirkwood Road) and Big Bend Road.

Drivers who use the I-70 express lanes to go to downtown should be aware that the lanes will close for barrier wall repair starting Monday, October 16 at 9 a.m.  They should reopen Saturday, October 21 by 5 a.m.
