JACKSON COUNTY – Permit work requires temporary CLOSURES of all lanes on both northbound/ southbound Interstate 435 near Mile Marker 59.8 including ramps at the Interchange of U.S. Route 24 in Kansas City. The Kansas City Police Department will assist with Traffic Control with Temporary Rolling Stops on the Interstate until work is complete. Work will be in progress for a short duration and will begin at approximately 7 a.m. until 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15. All work is weather permitting. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
