TRAFFIC ALERT: Lane closure scheduled for portions of I-35 near Route 92, Oct. 9-11

CLAY COUNTY – Crews will continue pavement sawing and patching along portions of Interstate 35 near Route 92, Oct. 9-11. There could be delays in the area. Once patching work is completed, crews will diamond grind the road to smooth the surface. The project is scheduled to be completed by end of November. All work is weather permitting.

 Monday, Oct. 9 – Wednesday, Oct. 11

  • Crews will close one lane of northbound I-35 from approximately 1 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. daily at MM 24 to Route 92 for pavement repair

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
