Permit work will require turn lane closures at MO 291 and Columbus Street in Lee's Summit

Closures for an emergency water main repair, NOW through 12 a.m. on Oct. 5.

JACKSON COUNTY – Permit work for the repair of an emergency water main break will require the closure of the northbound right turn lane and the southbound left turn lane from Columbus Street to Missouri Route 291. Access to Columbus Street from MO 291 will also be closed. This closure will be in place now (Oct. 4) through approximately 12 a.m. on Oct. 5.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
