HANNIBAL – The new Adair County Missouri Route 6 bridge over the Chariton River, located one mile east of Missouri Route 149 near Novinger, is now open to traffic, October 3.
Included in the contract is an additional project for the removal of the bridge on U.S. Route 136, located over an abandoned railroad 1.2 miles west of U.S. Route 63, near Lancaster in Schuyler County. This project is complete and opened to traffic on June 23, 2023.
Emery Sapp & Sons was awarded the contract last fall in the amount of $6,148,918.
